The Mt. Laurel Community Education department provides a variety of recreational, social, and enrichment programs, is supported by parent tuition, and includes the following programs:
Extended Day Care
Tuition-based before and after school program for students attending Mount Laurel School District in grades K through 6. The program is offered in all 5 of our K-4 schools, as well as at Hartford School for 5th and 6th graders.
Camp Laurel
This highly in-demand, summer day camp provides a safe, nurturing, enjoyable environment for children who have completed kindergarten through sixth grade. Camp includes an art program, sports, indoor and outdoor activities, clubs, weekly themed events, recreational swimming at Larchmont Swim Club, and special programs at no extra cost.
Talented and Gifted Artists (TGA)
A limited number of gifted artists chosen for this program complete five creative projects throughout the year. The artist’s work is framed and displayed at the TGA Art Show in May. All artists are required to submit a portfolio for acceptance into this program.
Summer Mini Camps
These engaging one-week mini-sessions provide the opportunity for participants to explore a wide world of enrichment. Some of the camps included are
Spartans Basketball Camp, STEAM camp, and Digital Arts camp. New camps are added often, but availability is limited.
